Default 968 & 944S2 Silicone Radiator Hoses

We have repeatedly been asked since we started offering the 8v silicone 944 hose kits if we offer them for the 16v. The answer has been no.

That's about to change for those who are interested.

We are tooling now for the new hoses that it will take to make the 944S2 and 968 complete hose kits. 5 new 968 hoses and 5 for the S2. Everything else, we already produce as they share hoses with the 8v cars.

We expect to have them in stock around the end of October.

Group buy anyone?

Does this include the little hoses that go to the heater valve?

Yes, it includes both the water pump to heater valve and heater valve to coolant pipe hoses. The 968 kit has 8 hoses and the S2 has 10.

I would be interested depending on timing. I am getting ready to remodel our new house, so weekend time will be at a premium.

Thicker, Higher Temp Rating, Higher Burst Rating, Available in colors and less expensive then the OEM type at current prices.

We anticipate both the S2 and 968 to be at or under $200 a kit.
Currently 968 and S2 rubber hoses exceed $200 a kit.

We have sold over 400 radiator hose kits for the 944 Turbo since 2009 and don't recall a single hose failure report. We do recall one customers hose which turned out to be a belt rubbed a hole through the hose. So the quality
level seems to be there with our silicone parts.

Our S2 and 968 Radiator Hose kits are in transit to us. We expect to be shipping kits out next week. They are on our web site but lacking pictures. Once we fit clamps to the hoses, we will have pricing on the hose clamp kits.

Although they are going to be a few weeks behind, we will have the two hoses at the rear of the engine as well connecting the engine to the firewall.

At the same time, we are going to have the S2 and 968 Intake Boot which Porsche calls the air box.

These are all available in our typical Red, Blue and Black.

Mike,

I took a look on your website for these hoses, and could not find them. Can you post a link that goes directly to this?

Thanks

Nathan

These look great. I'm a firm believer in preventative maintenance and I would always replace all of the hoses if I was doing a hose replacement job, but I've always wondered if all of these hoses see "full pressure". Specifically do the smaller diameter hoses experience the same pressure as the main radiator hoses?
