Default Hello all .

Just wanted to finally drop in and say hello , my name is Joey and I have been a euro guy for most of my life . It has been over 10 years since I owned my last 944 , also had 3 early 924s . I am going in the morning to hopefully look over and purchase my next playtoy , 86` 944 with 106k on it . I`ll be on here a lot in the near future getting back up to speed on everything , but like anything else I have owned , it never stays stock . Anyhow , til I have said car home and have pic , I`m out .

Welcome. As you already know, owning a 944 is incredible and amazing.

Is this an introduction to a roast? 10 years and forgot how fun it is to...never mind. Remember to self, don't discourage until after they buy it...if they can hack it they will become a Jedi master or just broke. Or both.

First pics of the new to me 944 . It is not home yet , going back next weekend to pick it up , but the deal has been made . First things to do when I get it home are a little maintenance , timing belt and water pump along with a full tuneup since the last is unknown . No reported accidents , completely unmolested as far as I can tell . I`ll get some better shots once it is home .

After you do the maintenance, get some spacers on there. The '86 car is a different offset than what those wheels are intended for (they aren't stock to your car). That's why they sit in that far.

Congrats on the purchase regardless, looks like a nice car!

Nice going. We never get tired of seeing these.
Nice color both interior and exterior. Little care looks like it will go a long way. Congratulations.

Well , it took a little longer to get her home due to all the snow and rain here on the east coast , the ground has been a bowl of oatmeal . Anyhow , almost have the shed cleaned up so I can attend to the service work before I put her back on the road .

Well started my ritual for cleaning my new to me 944 . I remove all the interior for a through cleaning . The sunroof has been leaking so I popped it out and cleaned all the drain tubes along with pulling the seal and cleaning the channel out . I am going to have to replace a few things in the interior to get it to where I want it , but I knew that when I bought . Waiting on a couple mechanical parts to show up to get it fired back up and then I can start checking things over before I tag it and take it for some new tires .
