Default Bilstein Question?

Hello, I was just hit in my 1997 BMW 328i. The car was totaled. Which is now forcing me to use my 944 as my daily driver. My car is in need of schocks. I am wondering, will the bilsteins on my 328i fit my 944?

Take a measurement of the eyelet dimensions, shock body dimensions, basically everything...I can compare there to mine if you'd like. It would be interesting to see if they're close.

They wont fit. E36 and 944 suspension is different in every possible way.

I have these(85.5 na), used for one year if you're interested.. Spax 29 way adjustable in stock powdercoated tubes with stock springs, new OE bearings. $300+shipping.

I thought he was referring to the rear, hence shocks, not struts. Anyways, it doesn't look like they have a top eyelet and unless you do some serious custom work, they won't.

Top mount on the shocks on an e36 are completely different, as I recall. I don't even think the bottom bolt is the same size, with the Porsche being larger.

New bilsteins are definitely better option. Mine are stock items with adjustable hardness, these bilsteins are height adjustable coilovers..
