Default Need a fuse-box wiring connector - Early 944...

Does anyone have, or can get this wiring connector? It goes to the main fuse-box, and is a black-plug, labeled "E". I need the connector and at least 6" of wire (the longer the wiring the better). I need to repair the wiring on my NA.

I believe the Porsche part number is #171 971 971 E. Pelican parts has it for $5.75. However, I doubt this comes with wires. If you're just trying to repair a broken wire, it may be better to extract the offending wire, and crimp on a new terminal to the repaired wire. Good luck.

Thanks. Unfortunately it isn't just one wire... the lot is fried. So I need to cut out the offending bits, and completely replace the entire plug.

Man...so sorry I keep flaking on this. Haven't had much time to go to boneyards lately and when I have this has slipped my mind...

I need to go the yards to poke around a late 944 if they have any, so if there are any early cars as well I'll get the wiring for you.

Considering it is hampering me from finishing the kit for the 944NA guys... I think they would be appreciative as well as myself.

Rogue, my rear ended 924s has a good harness. I could be convinced to hack it up for you if i thought that maybe there could be some 16v MAF love in the future

Try dC Auto, (800) 579-2410. I was at their warehouse a few weeks ago and I think I may remember hearing that answer the phones 24 hours for their international customer base, so go ahead and give them a call.

I've already started working on the S2 code, and the S code is similar... Though it would help immensely if I had one local to actually test with. Same goes for the S.

I see, well ill dig that connector and wire out of my 924. I can make my car available for testing when your ready, though it is my DD so we may have to figure out something on that front.
