944 child seat?

Recaro
I have an 86 951 (NO AIRBAGS and lap belts in rear) and here are my two solutions....while some might think they are a little extreme.......what they protect is worth more to me than any Porsche.
Solution #1 - Front Seat - Recaro Booster with Aluminum Frame for when my son and I go on roadtrips or are justing running around on the weekends.
Solution #2 - Rear Seat - installed a "Honda Prelude - it fits perfectly" harness bar and upgraded rear seat belts to 4 point harnesses for when I have both kids with me or with them and one of their friends.

Why in the world would anyone want to put a child small enough to be kept in a car seat in such a small car. This car isn't a family car or a practical car. Plus any car seat that you can find won't have enough contact with the rear seat. Trust me, I know. My wife was pestering me about going to the fire station on our base and asking them about it. I humored her and went. They took measurements and said that we could actually be fined in the state of Kentucky and Tennessee for attempting to secure a child safety seat to the rear seat. Plus, who buys a Porsche to tote kids around in anyway, lol.

But if you are referring to forward facing seats... Your comments are dopey.
There Is a seat narrow enough to sit properly in a 944 back seat... I still have the one my kids used when they were that age and size.
Fit fine and allowed use of the shoulder belts in the rear of my s2...so why not take the boy for a drive?

Eh, I'm just going off of what the fire station said, but I personally wouldn't allow my child to ride in the car until he was a bit older. There are a lot of people who drive recklessly around where we live and too many accidents occur on a daily basis. But everyone has a different preference. We initially tried to see if a car seat would fit in it but the 3 that we had tested it with didn't have a good enough purchase on the seat to make it completely safe, in our opinion.

Three Wheelin'
I have no idea how you guys do it! I have a 2 year old son and 8 month old daughter both which have Recaro car seats. Rear facing would take a miracle to fit in back seat and even forward facing is virtually impossible.

Ride safer tavel vest.
My kid is 3 and has been riding around in my 944 turbo since he was 2.5. He loves it. He wears a ride safer travel vest. I'll try to remember to take a pic next time we saddle up.

any updates on this - looking at an 89 s2 and the wife just reminded me about how it would be nice to also be able to take our toddler to preschool sometimes in this.
any tips would be gold at this point
