Not a chance! The voltage output of a wideband O2 sensor is completely different from the ones we have in our cars:

Best to use the wideband as a tuning tool.

Danno,

How can I use this sensor then, would I weld a mount on the exhaust for the wide band O2 sensor, use it to tune then take off and cap the mount or am I completly off base here.

Thanks for the help

Yeah, that sounds good. Or you could just leave it attached. I guess once you dial things in, there's really no need for it, eh?

Perhaps we should start up a wideband O2 rental scheme. Kinda like how Jay's the Toolmaster for the belt-tensioning tool...

Hey Danno,

Do you have some Canadian in you, eh?

Dave,

I'd mount the wideband (obviously u/s of the cat), and leave it there. Mount your a/f meter somewhere handy for occasional glances. Lots of people (including me) have a permanent a/f meter in their car. You'll just happen to have one that KICKS *** over the ARM1 / stock O2 sensor combo.

I think the wideband is only good for 500 hours. Someone please confirm.
