we have purchased the equipment to make them, and found the shop we have will not meet the power requirements. To run the line in will cost about 15k.
we have procured suitable space and are setting up. I was to ambitious in the prototype release. Unlike others I do not take money until I have a suitable product.
so, yes its still on, just not as fast as we would like

On the 914 we are almost retooled to start pumping these out in quantity. We got sidetracked on the 914 bumper tops and the new dashes that will be launched in about a week. We will have a group buy going on the bumper tops starting later this week, so as soon as we tie up the loose ends these are next.

This was published in Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories from the Summer of 1986.

Their phone number at that time was 213-657-4800.

My scanner produced a poor image, but it is readable.

The Saratoga Top is on the bottom row, 2nd from the left side.

You can order them straight from Pilkington. Looks like their website is undergoing maintenance, but I ordered one this past fall.

The unit I got looked like it had been sitting on a shelf for a while. The seal tore off one corner after a minor rub, but after gluing it back on it has remained in place without issue. The glass is good quality, the hardware is decent, and it seals well even in heavy downpours. All in all, would buy again, and will probably be on my standard to-order list for any future 944's I get.

Quick Reply: I found the Saratoga Sunroof guy. Any interest in NEW Saratogas?
