Default Got my new 951!! with Pics! (*DIALUP WARNING*)

Here's the car I described a week or so ago. I flew up to Cincinatti, spent an hour an a half getting her out of the garage (18" of snow and ice from earlier storm) and to the street. GREAT 700+mile trip home - with one annoying exception...the PO had autocrossed her with the street tires (she comes with another set of whells w/Kumho's for the track!)...flat-spotted the damn things. Vibrated like hell at 82mph....Already put new rear shoes on her...fronts will be in next week.

Anyway - here are MOST of the details...as I am still learing about this car.

"Farrah"
1987 951...car has been completely rebuilt/overbuilt from stem to stern over the last 3 years...and I mean EVERYTHING (including ringing the block). The records folder on this baby is 2 inches thick!
5-speed, with LSD
Club Sport chips (they tried several different chipsets, and found these to be the best)
MAF conversion
Koelken Intercooler
Lots of Huntley Racing stuff onder the hood
ARC2/ARM1 A/F systems
APEX AVC-R Boost control
KONI Adjustables
968 Sway bars
etec.
etc.
etc.

Here's some pics - sorry I haven't even had time to vacuum the trip dirt from the carpets, or give her a proper cleaning/RejeXing....next weekend...

(I REALLY should have vacuumed!!)

Very cool! What color is that? Looks too light to be Zermatt, stone grey? Or some other silver? Good luck with it!
