Default David looking for engine compartment rubber bumpers

Here’s the deal on these. I have a ’78 930. The rubber bumpers on my car were missing so I set out to find a pair. Not only could I not find replacements, I couldn’t even find a part number or even the part in the PET. It was like it didn’t even exist.

I managed to get an original from a good friend of mine off his ’78 and had it reproduced. It was very expensive to have all the tooling done and manufacturing. I realize they are a little pricey, but I spoke to several owners and they all seemed to think that this was a fair price. This is a hobby for me. I’m not looking to get rich, just trying to recoup my costs and make a few bucks to buy more parts.

Those of you who have seen the Turbo stripes I made, you know how OCD I am. It has to be perfect. These came out great.

$48 a pair shipped CONUS

Thanks,
Tom
Hello,

I am in need of these for my 78 930. I realize your post is old but do you still have them for sale?

Thank you

David

It's funny timing I just dug mine out that I purchased from Tom in 2016 - I need to install them in my 76 which I drove for the first time in 6 months today.

That's funny. I purchased my 76 at the end of December and have put a total of 30 miles on it between different restoration projects. Enjoy
