Looking for a good mechanic for a 930 in Westchester, NY

I was looking for a good mechanic for my euro spec 930 in Westchester, NY... can anyone advise?

Cheech is the reason why my car is screwed up in the first place! He took YEARS (yes YEARS!) to fix my car, and every time that the he said "your car is ready" the car never even made it home because the engine would blow! (and i was not abusing the car on the way home). I would take it back to that extremely RUDE, lying thief, and he would immediately disassemble the entire car into a jig saw puzzle, and then conveniently wait like a year and a half to "get to it" again.
He ruined a brand new paint job, complete with chips on the door sills and green over spray from something that he was painting right next to it.
He ruined the new carpeting
He ripped my new headliner
He "lost" my $350 car cover
He "lost" several high performance brake parts
He "lost" the center cap to one of my wheels
He "doesn't know" how my yellow euro signal lenses turned red and then he had the ***** to charge me for the labor to put mine back on.
He "had no idea" why my license plate had a parking ticket issued to it in Manhattan when I have NEVER had the car there and furthermore my car was in his possession!
The list goes on and on!
And afterI finally gave him another $8,000 to get my engine out of his shop, he said he would put it together good this time, I made him sign a paper warrantying his work and low and behold, I get the car home and the damn thing doesn't work...AGAIN!
I call him and he tells me that the car "doesn't have a starting problem, it has a running problem" and he is not responsible and then he hung up on me!
I had another Porsche mechanic look at the engine really quick and he looked at me and said; "Where would you like me to start? With the missing parts or the half assed job on the incorrectly installed twin plug ignition?"
Cheech should be in JAIL! I must have paid over over $30,000 in cash over the years... wonder if he bothered to report that income, too

He did what he did, come have a look at his work, it will speak for itself! ... You should keep a close eye on your car if you have it there, people change and I have felt some of what he is capable of!

Wow, yikes. Sorry to hear you are having such issues with them. I have only been there once, no issues. And I was recommended by a few Porschephiles in the area.

Mike over at M-tech in New Rochelle is a really good guy, he stayed late after he closed to do a pre-purchase inspection for me on a 996 Carrera 4... thanks for the recommendation.

Not in Westchester, but Bobby Sing at Manhattan Motorsports in Roslyn knows these cars cold. Also check out Speedsport tuning in Danbury, CT or Kip Harris, also in CT (former Farnbacher-Loles).
