Happy 2016 everyone.
I've been thinking for a couple weeks on remove the Whale tail from my 82 Targa. I love both styles, but the tail delete, I like more.
Long story short, yesterday Dec. 31, 2015, a good friend came home and took down a long box from his car, saying "Here is your Christmas present"
Inside was the rear grill I need to put on place after remove the tail.
I have to fix the tailgate, to cover the holes, I'm fine with it, as well I need to re-spray the part.
My question is, does anyone know what is that part No. ir how to search online the right screws bolts needed to put the grill? It seems the HW didnt came with it, even since it's a original Porsche part.
Trying to attach pictures of before / after.

Used lids are not that expensive.

I thaught about that, but will do in the near future. I'll keep the Spoiler, and find a tail somewhere.
For now It will be like this.
I'm attaching pictures of the after. Car returned home yesterday. I still need to install the 911 SC badge.
Thanks everyone for your comments.

I did the same thing to mine....while I appreciate the Carrera tail, I just love the pure, clean lines of the car without it. I bought a new decklid and kept the old Carrera tail. Then I got tired of it sitting around and sold it....never going back!

Multiple lids here too. And Schnell is a couple blocks from my house. I drive right by it on my way to Einmalig and gladly pay a few pennies more. Costa Rica doesn't likely have 911 deck lids just piling up at shops everywhere so I get the urge to just weld up the holes and respray, but man, I'd hold out for another lid.
Wait, my guy is less money.

There are multiple holes to fill........ get another deck lid. Save your current tail/deck lid combo. If it's OEM Porsche it is valuable.
