Default Purchase Advice 1999 911 Carrera 4 3.4L

What would be a fair price to offer for this? http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/5200550583.html Or would it be a bad idea? Im not sure yet on the rebuilt engine, He claims to have about 2yrs of records from the last owner to include the engine replacement. He also said the last owner upgraded the headers.

Better advice and knowledge on the 996 board, this one is focused on pre-89 cars.

That about right for what it is. Engine was likely replaced because of ims. If you don't know what that is visit the 996 forum and start reading. Lots of cars for sale have engine replacements.
