Did the lifter(s) quiet down? Sounded like a carpenter was hiding in the engine bay. Not good.

Very nice build. Good luck going forward!

Yes.
The engine has been in a crate for months.

Glad to hear that. Hydraulics can go bad. You're going to love the engine. A buddy has the same setup in a significantly lightened 77 back-date RSR look.
It is a wonderful driving car. Torque is addictive.

Love the color combination, and the Sport Seats look just right. The 3.6 really brings things to life. Look forward to pictures of the finished product.

Sounds very sweet and super sanitary job must say , only thing I would suggest is the
possibility of mounting the cooler a bit higher above the reinforcement so that the first
parking abutment doesn't remove your cooling capacity completely ! Bert

Yeah, the cooler is kinda low, we debated this a bit. But its dead in the center of the spoiler opening and its been this way for over 10 years ( with the 2.7) with no ill effects yet.

But it WAS A RACE CAR, now its a street car. Anybody want to buy a safety devices cage, sparco race seats, race belts, etc CHEAP?

You might want to throw some fans on that cooler for surprise traffic in summer. If you have trouble keeping temps down in-motion, some kind of shroud will help.

Repeat after me ..." I will not track my new car, it's a street car now! I will not track my new car!" It's not working ...

I see that you have an Earls cooler, 60 row? How is it working?

Still being finished. It replaced the old onei (brand unknown). Never had a heat issue on the track.
