your car's color always looks 'creamy' compared to pics I see of others

It may well be. I see a bit of pastel there sometimes. Not too sure we nailed the colour accurately but it looks pretty good. Not ever been next to another Signal O to compare.

It's nicer than any Signal orange I've seen - esp. if you liked Creamsickles as a kid.

Long time, no update! The T Continues to impress with its reliability, user friendliness and speed. It was unused for quite a while when some other cars came along. The Dino GT4 was exciting and full of theatre but there is no doubt that 911’s of the same era are the better drive. In the driveway now is three generations of 911 and the wildcard, a 987 Spyder. The T is still the first choice for road trips when the ‘Air-cooled’ call is made.

So classic a car and color ...gorgeous! I can easily see the involuntary smile that emerges every time you fire that baby up! Enjoy

Gone to the dark side for a while but the T is still the keeper.

It’s been a long time since the last update. The T continues to be the main fixture in the fleet while others come and go. I came very close to selling but cooled off and identified the shortcomings and decided to address those rather than just bail out. The T became a chore on big multi day road trips where there might be 20 hours driving but I could only point to one or two hours of true driving nirvana. It was either fogged screens, rain, cold, hot, ringing ears at days end and generally shear terror trying to keep up. I got a taste of a 987.2 Spyder for a while and subsequently 986, 987, 997.2 which were far more useable and a lot of fun. So the T is now used for coffee cruising and a half day blast now and again.
I’ve added sound deadening, re trimmed the dash plates in the correct material, fitted an engine sound pad, frunk carpet, sorted the floor mats for creep, a 370 MOMO, raised the car a little and generally finished jobs that never were. It’s much nicer now.
One last job that starts this month is to have the gauges refinished. It’s only recently I discovered that the T runs a later speedo and tach due to the 3.2 power plant. Never knew that but should have. Only the two left gauges have the chrome centre bezel. Not sure what to do there, add chrome to the others or black out the two.
And sort out wipers that have a mind of their own and start working randomly. A job I have no clue how to do but will lean on those more clever with electrickery.
