Default Q. Re. repairing 3.2 vent module

Anyone has experiencing repairing a 3.2 Carrera dash-mounted ventilation module? Specifically fix the 3-position fan switch?

The module can be unbolted from below. Once that is done, what is the correct way to pull it from the dash?

I just took mine out a couple days ago. I cut all four wires.

As for the cables...mine all pulled out with the controls as I had disconnected them from the fresh air box and surrounding equipment.

Absolute PITA

If your goal is to simply clean the switch, it is easy to get to one the controls have been pulled loose from the dash. You may be able to clean them without actually fully removing the controls. It will be tight, but doable.

There is only that one bolt underneath that is accessible once the ash tray and holder are out of the way.
