where can I get some Swepco 201?
I've called a bunch of places around my area and no one seems to sell Swepco or have heard of it. Need to fill my tranny...
Does anyone live in the Sarasota, Tampa area here in FL and know where to get it?

This time of year, I recommend ordering it from Foreign Intrigue in Maine. They have it on sale every Jan/Feb for $29.95. Phone is 1-800-800-8070. You can view their sale flyer on the web at http://www.foreignintrigue.com/specials.asp No affiliation - I've bought from them and have been pleased with prices and service.

I called the factory direct and they told me they do not sell to "auto parts" stores they said one of the only exceptions they made was Pelican and I am assuming the place above. I ended up using another brand per Porsche dealer.

lostinatl - Don't want to disagree with you but I must. I also called the factory sales division at the phone number posted at www.swepcousa.com and spoke with Pamala. They will sell to anyone in a case lot. The price I was quoted was a case of 6 each 1 gallon containers $159.23 plus $16 shipping, plus sales tax for your state. If I wanted to order three cases they would pay for shipping. All I needed to do was provide a credit card number. If you do the math it comes out to about $29.21 per gallon including shipping plus tax. My suggestion would be to find either 4 or 5 others to share a case or buy form Foreignintrigue as Bill stated above.

Not sure you are disagreeing with me, unless you are an auto parts store. They also told me the same thing. I think the original poster was looking for someplace local to pick some up (as was I). Which is hard or near impossible to do.

Vince - sorry I didn't catch the part about "Auto Parts" store. I've run into the same problem here in SLC. I tried to talk the wrench I do some business with into buying a case of 201, but he tells me that he will only install Castroil in 915 trannies unless I bring it in myself. I found a couple of places on the web - Pelecan, ajusa, vertexauto and allzim are a few. They all sell it for around $35 gal plus shipping. I would consider these guys "Auto Parts" stores on line. Go figure..........
Good Luck,
