That is a good price. I'd suggest posting on the 914 forums. They are less concerned about originality, but are price sensitive.
I'd be interested in them as spares but they look sort of aftermarket what with the polishing and all. If you are going to stick to that price, good clear macro shots of the back sides are in order, just my own $.02.

It could be that now that there are other choices in wheels now, Jeff Alton's come to mind, that the market for 16" Fuchs will be a bit more limited to those that only want original size wheels?

I've been looking for some pictures that I kept of an eBay auction that sold 4 930 Fuchs wheels. If I find the pics, I'll post them to try to help you take better pics.
Put it this way, I stopped bidding when the price hit $4500.
Basically, take all 4 wheels and line them up. Take 1 shot of the front side of all wheels, and 1 shot of the back side. 1 close up of the Fuchs stamping showing the foxhead and the size markings. They'll sell, but the polishing in my own opinion is not really the "classic" Fuchs look. Some folks may like that however. Good luck.

Two things working against you,--polished, and the price. The polishing essentially ruined those rims as far as I'm concerned.
I sold a set of 7 and 8s (16) in near perfect original finish about 2 years ago for $1200 to a Rennlister. I think your pricing is unrealistic for the condition of the wheels (refinished and repainted) and in today's economy. The people who would ordinarily buy those wheels (owners of 20-25 year old Porsches) probably are not willing to spend $2000 on wheels right now.

well I guess the market has dissapeared as 5 months ago these wheels were up for sale at $2400 the same basic finish and they sold quick. I did add some pictures today so that should help
I do think its a bit funny when people say I" ruined" the wheels when it is very easy to reanodize if you are after that look (al reed does this all the time) and considering they are NLA but hey to each their own.. thanks for the input though regardless

oh and I did price adjust to $1900 shipped so maybe more realistic? Who knows but it seems everybody and their brother wants to trade something for them though

Three Wheelin'
Just tell them that you ARE willing to trade. They trade you $1,900.00 in cash and in return you will trade them 4 Fuch wheels.

just take the new pics and post 'em like I said.
Your pictures show just the front side of two wheels. Line them up, take a shot of all 4 from the front, then all 4 from the rear. One or two CLEAR closeup shots from the back showing the stampings.
Otherwise you're just wasting your time. If you do that, you'll show they are the genuine article. Everything else is just blather.

Price is right. I just sold a set with the black centers for $ 1,700. It took about two weeks to sell and I had to ship international. I got a couple of hits from people wanting me to break up the set.
If this had been a year ago those wheels would have sold in a day or two.

sold em last night for very close to asking guess I was not far off though in the right market probably could have had 3-400 more for them. now the search begins for the right wheels
