Power door lock problems...
When I first got my car, the power door locks worked. All of a sudden they stopped working. If I remember correctly the fuse had blown. The fuse that was in the fuse box was 5 or 10 amps higher than what it was supposed to be. I replaced the fuse, and the power door locks started working again.
Well a few weeks ago I pushed my power door lock button, and it had stopped working again. I checked my fuse, and it was fine!
What else can I check?
Thanks guys!

Jax 951,
All of the 944's with central locking (except the 1991 S2) have a central locking control unit loctated under the driver's side dash attached to the steering column. Here is a link to the factroy manual trouble shooting pages to test both the central locking system.

FYI for 1991 S2 owners - your central locking control unit is co-located with the alarm control system just like the 968's. Many of the 968 control systems are the same for the 1991S2. More than any other 944 the '91S2 shares a lot of the 968 components. I have been learning this through trial and error. Much more difficult to trouble shoot accessory controls in the '91S2 than earlier 944's. I specify the '91S2 because Porsche made many of these changes in the final model year. I guess they were trying some of the new 968 stuff out on the last of the 944's before they stopped production.
Regards,
Max
