Never Enough Performance

As has been the case in all avenues of technology, mankind's advancements in the automotive industry in the past several years has been exponential. With the introduction of Porsche's newest 911 Turbo model, the manufacturer shattered expectations for what was previously thought possible. Still, all that performance isn't quite enough for some people. One such group of mad men is the folks at TECHART.

That's why they've taken it upon themselves to enhance the performance of the Porsche in every way. The results of their work is the modified 911 Turbo S you see in this slideshow, named GTstreet R by TECHART. As the name would suggest, this car is engineered for optimal performance on the street and the race track.

Aerodynamics

Immediately recognizable are the extensive aerodynamic work on the 911. And although it certainly does well to give the Porsche a significantly more aggressive look, these modifications are far from being just cosmetic. The carbon fiber kit serves to improve down force by 45% at the front and a whopping 4 times as much as the factory version at the rear axle at 86 miles per hour.

Improving Upon Perfection

The sophisticated aero features additional air inlets all around the vehicle, both for cooling purposes and to increase downforce. In addition to all the newfound aero, TECHART also gives the 911 Turbo and Turbo S upgrades in the powertrain. The 911 Turbo S comes with 640 horsepower out of the factory, capable of a 2.6-second 0-60 time. But of course, that's not going to cut it for TECHART.

Adding Power

The GTstreet R can be turned up to 800 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque at the touch of a button. A custom hand-welded exhaust system with valve control lets you hear the roar of the powerful motor, further enhancing the experience. Speaking of the experience, the interior space of the Porsche receives custom touches courtesy of TECHART as well.

Complete TECHART Experience

With a checkered theme throughout, the GTstreet R cabin features custom carbon fiber trim. TECHART badges can be found in a number of spots, reminding the driver that they're not in an ordinary 911 Turbo. The production of these beasts is limited to just 87 units. With the donor 911 Turbo or Turbo S provided by the customer, the cost of the conversion will be €73,000 or approximately $87,000.
