TechArt Launches Custom Porsche Configurator
Fun for customers or just those that want to toy around with their rides.
Toying Around
TechArt has been offering up all sorts of custom Porsche parts and turnkey cars for quite a few years now, giving fans a number of ways to set their rides apart from the pack - both in terms of looks and performance. Now, prospective customers of the German shop can also toy around with its different offerings courtesy of TechArt's new configurator, which just launched.
Wide Array
The TechArt configurator has quite a few different Porsches to choose from as well, including the 992 911 Carrera, GTS, GT3, Turbo, and Turbo S, as well as the Taycan and Panamera. From there, customers can choose all sorts of exterior, interior, and performance upgrades.
Wheel Upgrade
For us, the GT3 proved too enticing to avoid, and there are a number of options customers can add to this track-focused version of the 911. On the outside, that includes a set of Formula VII racing wheels, which can be finished in a variety of colors and treatments, including gloss or even dual color.
Front End Revisions
From there, customers can choose from nearly 20 different brake caliper colors to accent that wheel design before moving on to bodywork. In terms of custom panels, TechArt offers a revised hood, front spoiler, front air intake, and vented front fenders at that particular end.
Down the Sides
Side skirts and custom side mirrors or carbon units enhance that part of the car, while the rear can be upgraded with new spoiler end plates, a revised rear wing, engine panel intake, a roof spoiler, a polycarbonate rear window, and a rear diffuser with TechArt lettering.
Interior Upgrades
Moving inside the cabin, shoppers have their choice of five different interior hues, a steering wheel emblem, and the Clubsport interior package, which adds a six-point harness to the existing roll cage for those that actually plan on taking their cars to the track.
Seeing It In Action
Finally, an exhaust system upgrade rounds out TechArt's offerings for the GT3, but this is just scratching the surface in terms of what it offers for an array of Porsche vehicles. And truthfully, it's nice to be able to see what they look like on the car by themselves, as most aftermarket outfits don't offer such luxuries.
