Lighter than a GT3 RS
Yup. The all-new SCR is reported to tip the scales at 2,756lbs dry. This seems like a feather compared to the GT3 RS 3,153lb quoted curb weight until you consider curb weight includes all of a cars interior, fluids, etc., etc. Having said that it is likely to be substantially lighter (100lbs or so) and that is worth a lot!

Motorsport Inspired Suspension
Crucial to the design of this car is the pushrod actuated short-long arm suspension setup found at both the front and rear of this car. This is a deviation from traditional design in the 911 and allows much more precise control of suspension geometry. The more you discover about this car the more RUF reminds you why they are legends in the Porsche world.

No BS in the SCR
Six-speed manual transmission. Rear wheel drive. These are the ingredients that make a 911 great. A powerful flat six with a strong torque curve and light weight have been the staple as government regulations have stepped in to ruin the fun. RUF forgets all of this and hones in on exactly what makes this car great. Then, they crank it up to 10.
