One of 701

This 1993 Porsche 911 RS America is part of a limited production of 701 units over two years. It was previously in Alabama before being taken to Germany by its previous owner. However, it recently returned to the United States in January 2023 and currently has 60,000 miles on the odometer. The car is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six engine, coupled with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. It has a black exterior with a matching cloth interior.

The Goodies

Notable features of this RS America include 17" Cup wheels, air conditioning, power height-adjustable sport seats, a Blaupunkt Heidelberg SQR 24 cassette stereo, and a fixed rear spoiler. The undercarriage has been cleaned using dry ice in preparation for the sale. The vehicle comes with the owner's manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title.

Lightweight

The RS America model is a lightweight variant of the Carrera 2, easily recognizable by its distinctive fixed rear spoiler, RS scripts on the rear decklid and quarter panels, and black finish. It also has manually-adjustable aero mirrors and fog lights.

Improved Suspension

The car features a factory M030 sport suspension with improved shock absorbers and a larger-diameter front stabilizer bar shared with the 911 Turbo. The braking system consists of four-wheel ventilated and cross-drilled discs.

Sporty Cabin

Inside, the sport seats are power adjustable with black cloth upholstery and leatherette sides. The cabin includes red seatbelts, door pull straps, air conditioning, and a Blaupunkt Heidelberg SQR 24 cassette stereo. In place of the rear seats, the RS America has a luggage shelf and enclosed storage compartments

Built For Speed

The car's interior features a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer displays 60,000 miles.

3.6-Liter

Under the rear decklid, the 3.6-liter flat-six engine produces a factory-rated output of 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. This gorgeous Porsche was just auctioned on Bring a Trailer, and it fetched $176,000.
