1. Enthusiasts unite

The shop is called Porsche Life and is the followup to the successful run of pop-up stores called the Sound of Porsche that the brand made its foray with. The first stop for the shop is at the Victoria gate shopping center located in Leeds, England. Afterward, the store will then make its way through ten other locations over the course of the next twenty-four months. In the words of Ragnar Schulte, the General Manager of Marketing, Porsche Cars GB, “Porsche Life offers every visitor the opportunity to explore first-hand the stories and legends that underpin the Porsche brand.”

2. Extending an open hand

The store was designed to attract not just Porsche enthusiast,s but also potential new fans both young and old by using interactive experiences that span across the breadth of the brand. Touchstones for the experience include a look into the renowned 911, the LMP1 919 Hybrid, and the electrifying Mission E. We have heard that there are also small hints at the direction the company will be taking vehicles in the future alongside the Mission E in one of the videos.

3. A no pressure setting

The forethought behind the store is to present Porsche in a way that catches people off-guard and allows them to learn more about the brand in a relaxing environment. That is why the layout of the store resembles a living room, kitchen, lounge area and a home office. Each of these is modeled to be a representation of the home one would have that is living a "Life with Porsche."  Porsche also has done this informal setting with their previous Sound of Porsche that let guests grab a cup of coffee and use a gesture control section to learn more about the Carrera 4S Coupe in a record store setting.

4. When you're ready to take the next step

Porsche wants everyone to know that this pop-up is not an "overt sales procedure" to drum of numbers for the already highly successful company. They simply want to bring together enthusiasts in the Porsche spirit in an urban meeting point. However, if one is so moved by what they experience that they seek out further information and some assistance in driving a model for themselves, there will be a link to a nearby dealership in Leeds that will arrange a separate test drive.

5. New cars and a race driver

At the pop-up shop, there will be the new Panamera Turbo, the latest 911 Turbo S and a 718 Cayman S to gander at up close. Porsche factory race driver and 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours winner, Nick Tandy, has been appointed as an official Porsche Life ambassador, which translates into him supporting various aspects around the limited engagement store. “My work takes me all over the world racing for Porsche, so naturally I am proud to support Porsche Cars GB as it takes the brand ‘on the road’ in my home country,” Nick remarked. When the Leeds location closes, Porsche Life will be moving on to venues such as Brighton, Hull, Liverpool, and London.
