Peek at the Future?

Porsche has embraced electrification arguably just as much as any other automaker, but it still intends to keep its ICE vehicles for the foreseeable future. Regardless, it seems inevitable that one day, EVs will dominate the market, meaning that models like the 911 GT3 could look a lot different than they do now. And maybe, just maybe, we'll also be able to buy something like this Taycan-like 911 GT3 dreamed up by artist Mikhail Sachko.

RWB Influence

These particular renderings certainly have a lot going on that needs to be digested, starting with the fact that the digital car features some heavy RWB (RAUH-Welt Begriff) influence, meaning that it's a bit outrageous in the looks department with a wide-body with huge over fenders and a massive rear wing.

Limoncello

Sachko named his creation "Limoncello" thanks to its accents on the wheels, brake pads, and bits of the interior, but the overall look is a bit gloomy thanks to its gray paint. Then there's the obvious - the Taycan front end fitted to the 911 body, a look that actually works here.

On to Something?

Of course, that bit is also heavily modified, with a large air intake and side adornments that flow into the super wide body. Even if RWB isn't your thing, if we take away the fenders and ridiculous wing, we think that Sanchko is on to something here.

Many Questions

It's certainly possible that the Taycan influences Porsche's future styling direction in a big way, as we've already seen some things (like its rear light bar) trickle down to other models. But the big question remains - can Porsche capture the magic of cars like the GT3 in electric form?
