Another One

It's unclear why this is the case, but recently, we've seen more than one Porsche dangling from more than one parking garage. As they say, when the same thing tends to happen over and over again, it makes for a trend, and that's seemingly the case after a woman in Coral Gables, Florida, accidentally drove her Porsche nearly completely out of the raised level of a parking garage recently.

Lucky Break

According to NBC News, the woman was on the third floor of the parking garage when she accidentally hit the accelerator, sending the SUV through a concrete barrier. Luckily for the driver, the Porsche didn't quite make it all the way through that concrete, and the vehicle wound up resting on a tree as well which may have helped keep it from tumbling to the ground below.

Coming to the Rescue

The woman was understandably trapped inside the vehicle as a result, though Coral Gables Fire Rescue officials did manage to safely extract her once they arrived on the scene. Rescuers used ropes to lower the driver to safety, and luckily, she wasn't hurt in the accident, though she was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Shaken Up

Though she was in a bit of shock - understandable given the circumstances, the woman did at least seem to handle the situation well. “Pretty sure that she was pretty shaken up, but looking at it from outside, she was fairly calm considering how dramatic this incident was,” Coral Gables Fire Rescue Chief Xavier Jones said.

Aftermath

As for the poor Porsche SUV, it had to be removed with a crane, and we imagine that it's probably a bit too far gone to repair. The parking garage itself is an entirely different problem, as structural engineers will have to inspect it and figure out how to repair that busted concrete, too.
