Amazingly Detailed

Baja Porsche 911 builds are all the rage these days, with a number of companies and individuals churning out some amazing, off-road-capable versions of the iconic sports car as of late. One of those outfits is Russell Built Fabrication, which creates some of the finest, most obsessively detailed, and pricey 911 Baja builds we've ever come across. Recently, AutoHunter took a closer look at one of them, and it's well worth checking out in detail.

Obsessive Detailing

Russell Built is no newbie in this particular arena, having supplied components to Singer for years now, and this 964-based build is the perfect way to show off their masterful work. The exterior is simply a work of art, with details including carbon fiber light surrounds, loads of additional lighting, and carbon fiber hood vents.

Long Travel

As one might imagine, this 911 has received a host of suspension upgrades as well, with a long travel setup providing 12 inches of travel up front and 13 inches in the rear, which is on par with a Ford F-150 Raptor, amazingly enough.

Upgraded Interior

Peek inside the cabin and this ultra-wide Porsche offers up plenty of eye candy courtesy of red racing buckets, a roll cage, and a host of amazing details that make this feel more like a brand-new car that just rolled off the assembly line of some bespoke custom shop rather than an older 911.

Plenty of Power

For power, this particular 911 Baja build relies on a Rothsport Racing-built naturally-aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six that generates a healthy 365 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Russell also offers optional turbo and supercharger upgrades for those that want more, but to us, there's nothing better than an NA flat-six.

Pricey Jewelry

The kicker, as one might imagine, is that these cars aren't cheap - in fact, Russell Fabrication's Baja 911 builds start out at around $380k and just go up from there, with this particular example selling for a cool million bucks. But for those with the means that want a bespoke piece of off-road-ready Porsche jewelry, they simply don't get better than this.
