Daily Slideshow: Add Some Porsche to Your Daily Routine With the 2018 Calendar

Porsche, the renowned German sports car manufacturer has come up with an exciting concept for its 2018 calendar. Dubbed the “Race Lab”, next year’s calendar focuses exclusively on the company’s roster of racing vehicles. The obvious question is – why? And Porsche provided an answer – to fortify its case that each of its production models has motorsports baked into it, from the 911 GT2 RS to the Cayenne S. The following are some of the vehicles featured in the upcoming 2018 “Race Lab” calendar.

1. 911 GT2 RS

With a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo boxer engine with 700HP, the 911 GT2 RS – with its aerodynamic curves and maximum lightweight construction, is capable of producing up to 700HP and a top speed of 340KMH.

2. 919 Hybrid

The 919 Hybrid was specifically produced by the German sports car manufacturer to test out the company’s more visionary ideas. Today, it is equipped with one of the most efficient hybrid drive concepts ever produced. The lessons learned from this vehicle allows Porsche to incorporate drive concepts into its sports car of the future.

3. 911 GT3

While the 911 GT3 may have grown up on the circuit, it’s certainly found its home on the street. The car’s interface is a unique cross between motorsport and series production. It features a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine, 6-cylinder in-boxer configuration, 500HP and can go from 0 to 60MPH in just 3.4 seconds.

4. Cayenne S

The Cayenne S features a newly developed 2.9-liter V6 bi-turbo engine to give the SUV a whopping 420HP with a torque of 550 Nm at 1350-4500rpm. In less technical terms – the Cayenne S is more powerful than it’s ever been.

5. 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series

The Cayenne S features a newly developed 2.9-liter V6 bi-turbo engine to give the SUV a whopping 420HP with a torque of 550 Nm at 1350-4500rpm. In less technical terms – the Cayenne S is more powerful than it’s ever been.

6. 718 Cayman S

A 2.5-liter turbo boxer engine in a mid-engine arrangement feeds the 718 Cayman S a most respectable 350HP.
