Singer Design

While it’s certainly not cheap, the work that Singer chucks out is unlike anything else out around. Builds vary from 300 horsepower all the way up to 390 and the sky is the limit. Want carbon fiber doors? Sign here. KW coil overs or Ohlins are available and can even be paired with carbon ceramic brake rotors. Singer specializes in 1984 to 1994 Porsche 911s and has an eye for detail few shops in the world can lay claim to.

Chris Banning’s Mulholland RSR

Covered in previous articles this “RSR” is actually 4 different 911s pieced together to create the ultimate street racer. Chris went all the way to Stuttgart to obtain original factory documents on building race cars to assist with his project. At 2000lbs with 300 horsepower and a naturally aspirated flat 6 the noise alone gets this car a place on the list. If you want more details on this car check out my previous article that goes much more in depth!.

STRAAT Pack

STRAAT Automobile has a unique take on the 911 game. With a team of mechanics that have been restoring vintage Porsches for over 40 years the cars slot in with great value for money. They go through every inch of every single part to ensure every detail is addressed correctly. Custom builds can be done with street, track or both in mind. The cars are unbelievably clean and only the highest quality chassis (rust free) and parts are used.

Series 900

Damon Josz, the man behind Series 900 Restorations has one of the coolest restomods on the planet. Albeit a replica (obviously) it had input from Roland Kussmaul who was one of Porsches big names when it came to the development of the rally spec 959. His creation was based on a 4WD 964 and was a spitting image of the classic Porsche icon.

’56 Speedster SCCA Vintage 356

Motor Classic and Competition Corp’s 1956 Speedster was a rotisserie restored racer powered by the beating heart of a 180 horsepower 914 motor. Equipped with a roll cage and all other class-specific parts to become a legal racer this car hits the track and the street instead of museums and parking lot meets. Restorations like this where the car goes out and sees events like the Monte Carlo Historics or the Mille Miglia Storica is what vintage cars are all about. Until next time…
