Porsche 356A

The Porsche 356 was the car that brought the brand to the forefront. With design and engineering cues from the ultra-successful Volkswagen, the 356A exemplified the Porsche philosophy of purity and simplicity. These cars went on to carve quite the legendary path of their own before the 911 came around.

993 Porsche 911 Turbo

The 993 is the favorite generation of 911 for many of us. The last of the air-cooled 911s was a sweet spot of technological advancement and pure driving experience, with a styling that takes any Porsche lover's breath away. The Turbo variation was all of that, and then some. When it comes to looks, performance, and the joy of driving, the 993 911 Turbo may have been the best of all worlds.

Porsche Carrera GT

Porsche's first stab at a hypercar in the modern era was nothing short of astonishing. Everything about the Carrera GT screams precision and power. It was a shocking sight to behold when it was first uncovered. And the spaceship-like design of the 918's predecessor struck a chord with the 10-year-old kid in many of us.

Porsche 928

The famous front-engine Porsche 928 was a car that managed to spread the Porsche craze to a much larger audience than the 911 enthusiasts. While it redefined what a Porsche was, it still perfectly represented the identity of the brand.

Porsche 992

The newest Porsche 911 known to mankind, the 992 will likely go down in history as one of the best generations of the 911, at least as far as styling. It took Porsche a few tries to finally get it absolutely right with the water-cooled 911s. But dare we say that the 992 captures the Porsche philosophy of purity better than any recent iterations of the sports car.

Porsche 356 Speedster

The Speedster was the topless version of the Porsche 356. But it went on to become much more than that. The signature look of the legendary sports car is still present in the convertible 911s of today.

The Original 911

And lastly, the most significant and timeless design in Porsche history, if not automotive history as a whole, has to be the original 911. The creation of the father-son duo, Ferry and Butzi Porsche, the 911 was set on a path that would see it become an icon, not only in the industry but in culture and society as well.
