1. 1985.5 944 - $11,000

The 944 is an incredibly fun and well-balanced car that received nothing but critical acclaim when it rolled off the assembly line. But unlike it's Porsche brethren, the 944 never gained a foothold in the classic car market. That means that examples like this 1985.5 model can be had for pennies on the dollar. This one has less than 90,000 miles on the clock, a recent paint job, BBS wheels, and a Turbo style nose. Yet it only fetched $11,000 at the 2017 Mecum Los Angeles Auction.

2. 1999 911 Carrera Convertible - $8,000

If you're looking for the most hated 911 of all time, we might have just found it. It's a 996, with those wonderful cracked egg headlights, and it has the dreaded Tiptronic tranny. But still, a decent looking 911 for $8,000? What else are you going to buy for that kind of money? Mecum provides no info on the car in regards to mileage, but it sure looks pretty good in the pictures. Even the interior is super sanitary.

3. 2000 Boxster S - $12,000

Regardless of whether you're a collector or an enthusiast, it's hard to find much more car for the money than an early Boxster S. And this 2000 model is no exception to that rule. Selling for a crazy low hammer price of $12,000 at this year's Kissimmee Mecum auction, you might think that maybe it was even an automatic. But nope, this one has a six-speed manual. The interior looks a little dirty in the pictures, but this is a really clean car everywhere else. And an absolute bargain.

4. 2004 Cayenne Turbo - $7,500

Will any Porsche SUV ever be considered a classic? That's for time to determine, but where else are you going to find a 450 horsepower turbocharged Porsche for $7,500? These things sold for over $100,000 when new, so even if it isn't perfect, you're getting an incredible bargain here. If nothing else, it will make a fun family hauler until it blows up.

5. 1995 968 - $19,500

$19,500 might not seem like a great deal for a Porsche 968 on the surface. But this one is a 1995 model, which was the final year for the 968. That means it's only one of 150 coupes produced that year for U.S. consumption. Plus, it's black on black with a 6-speed manual transmission, which is what collectors love. So it stands to reason that the new owner of this 968 will watch its value rise over the next few years.

6. 1987 928 S - $15,500

This particular 928 S, with a snarling 5.0 liter V8 under the hood, is among the nicer ones you'll see for sale anywhere. Much of that has to do with the fact that the owner has meticulously maintained it, and recently spent over $20,000 on preventative maintenance. This super clean ride sold for much less than that, making it a true bargain for someone hunting a 928 that will give them years of trouble free ownership.

7. 1988 944 - $18,500

This 1988 944 is a collector's dream with only 27,000 original miles on the odometer. It's also red with a black interior, which is never a bad thing. This rarely driven 944 has the 2.5 liter SOHC engine and 5-speed manual transmission as well. For less than twenty grand, it's a nice investment that should pay dividends one day.
