Porsches Can Haul, Too
Who’s says you can’t have speed and storage? Since the dawn of humanity, select individuals have had this innate ability to come up with new ways to go against the norms of society. These people, who we call innovators and leaders, use this ability to reject all the naysayers exclaiming what can’t be done, and instead show them what can. In this slideshow, you’ll see some of these very innovators, taking their superb roadsters and using them to store, move and mount some reasonable items.

1. Canoe
Pictured here is user The Kane, rocking a 996 TT with OEM roof rack. While the setup does look a little wonky, it's actually really sturdy and able to handle speeds of 75 mph!

2. Bike
While bike racks tend to be a bit more common, it's still a sight to see one on a Porsche. This 2014 911 Carrera is still banking corners like it should, except with a road bike attached to its roof!

3. Caravan
Do you ever get the desire to just get away? To explore the boundless, natural world that Earth offers? Well, I’m sure this driver did, and he used his 911 to get there.

4. Kayaks
Here’s a sweet 991 rocking an OEM roof rack system to hold this owner's kayaks. Not only does it look great, but also the entire support system is strong, well-made, and really easy to use.

5. Trunk Rack
Old cars made use of trunk racks to mount extra supplies. Here this Porsche 356 is using one to mount some old skis and luggage.

Porsches should be pre-equipped to handle these. The mounting holes will be hidden right under your weather stripping, so no extra cutting, drilling or gluing is required!
