1. Luxurious Design

The Porsche phone, aka the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9, is basically a redesigned version of the regular Huawei Mate 9.  It's slightly smaller, with a 5.5-inch screen, but this is really the only area where it's "lesser" than its fellow model. Playing off of the luxurious design of an actual Porsche, the phone features curved edges and is outfitted in a matte graphite finish. And, of course, the "Porsche Design" logo is ever-present on the front. Watch the official commercial for the phone right here for a closer look.

2. Specs

The Porsche Design Mate 9 has a higher resolution (2,560x1,440 pixels) than the standard Mate 9 phone and includes a whopping 256GB of memory with 6GB of RAM . You'll have plenty of room for road-worthy tunes and for snapping epic pictures of your Porsche on road trips.

3. Camera

The Porsche Mate 9 phone is more than capable of delivering your selfie desires. The dual 20/12-megapixel Leica camera on the back means higher resolution photos available for both monochrome and sharper color shots.

4. Technology

The Porsche Mate 9 isn't all for looks; you can expect the best in recent phone technology. A Kirin processor offers an 180% increase in GPU performance, allowing for a more responsive phone. The battery, when fully charged, allows for two days of power. What's also remarkable is that with only 20 minutes of charging, you've got a full day's worth of battery life, so you won't need to worry about how much you use your phone throughout the day.

5. Availability

If you really want to get your hands on a Porsche Mate 9, you'll have to go to do some traveling or ask your friends across the pond to visit a Porsche Design or Huawei store for you. Come January of 2017, the phone will retail in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The price reportedly lingers around 1,395 euros ($1,500).
