The plastic cover between the overhead console and the windshield is completely removable and there is space underneath it to add a homelink module. The other advantage is you can easily pick up 12v using a mirror tap. I removed this cover to install a 12v to 5v converter to power my aftermarket dash cam You could drill this and install a momentary switch but buy a replacement from Porsche to replace any time in the future.
