Getting the AC compressor removed was much much more of a pain in the a$$ than I anticipated, and I anticipated it to be a pain. But I got it out after multiple trips to the hard ware store to get quarter inch socket extensions. I was contemplating just disconnecting the AC lines but in the end gave it one more go and was able to get the stupid thing out. Also, not pictured, disconnecting the power steering lines was really only possible after lowering the engine a bit.
