The plug for the latch sensor is in front of the carpet. The mechanical escape latch sucks when it comes to removing the entire frunk liner. It is easier to simply bend the liner back to let you reach the connector. Unplug the connector and find a means to connect a two wire cable (speaker wire) into it.
