So, this console I bought had a different temp sensor assembly. It actually had a tiny little fan inside the sensor head itself. Since the prior sensor I knew worked (at least for heat since the AC doesn't), I decided to move that setup over to this console. It has a much larger external fan assembly. The hose that feeds the air from the fan to the sensor was cracked, and I happened to have a rubber hose with a 90ndegree bend in it that seemed like it would work fine, so mounted it up.
