Now CAREFULLY use an X-Acto, through a series of shallow cuts, to cut most but not all the way through the fuel hose. You'll have to be very careful on the first one to judge just how deep you're going. Slice all the way through the tube on the part that's not on the fitting. You do not want the knife to make ANY metal contact.
