This is the biggest problem. When you pull the roof off a 914 and it looks like this from the side view, it's almost not worth saving. I don't know how much "reengineering" Carelli did but from the looks of this picture, not near enough reinforcing as this car has serious sagging issues where the top of the door at both the front and back are just about touching the fenders.
