Spec boxster wheels and tires fit 987S?

Specifically a 987.2 Boxster S?

Will the rims fit over the brakes?
Will the tires rub?

Not sure what you are asking. The car will take 16-19" wheels.

I'm wondering if I can run 17" wheels and R compounds for the track, on my 09 Boxster S...
Cheaper, and will lower the car 1/2 inch.
