Tires for MY 95 993, Confused!!
I need to change my set of Tyres who are 17 inch trims on my 993.
Old ones are 6 years old ,but still have some thickness left. I can not find any with the 'N" on them..Can I opt for non "N" Tyres?? Is there a time length whereas one should change his tyres disregarding the thickness left?? Thanks for your help. Cheers:confused: |
Georges,
You should be able to install non N-spec tires. Go to www.tirerack.com and lookup tires of the sizes you need to see what brands are available in your country. |
N desgination is for OE spec tires. N, N-0, N-1, N-2, N-3 all denote different manufacturers OE or spec.
Should be fine either way. Tires are generally good for about 5 years. I would recommend replacing every 3-4 on a sports car. There is NO definitive answer on this subject. Rubber Man. Ass. and NHTSA are arguing about this issue right now. __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
