Default 996 rear wheels on a 964?

Hi,

On my quest for winter tyres, I've found someone selling a set of 17" Cup2s off a 996 (apparently). The fronts seem to be the same size as my current Cup1s, but the rears are slightly wider.

Current rears: 245 / 17", 8J ET 52
996's: 225 / 17", 9J ET 55

So, anyone know if these will fit OK? I understand there can be a problem with fouling an oil line...

Thanks,
Dave.

If there is any rubbing on either the oil line or rear swing arms, a 3mm spacer will move the wheel back out to the 52mm offset, or a 4mm spacer to 51mm. 225's are too small for 9" rims, too, however, 245's would fit nicely on 9" rims.
