R888 pressures?

I'm trying a new set of Toyo R888's on the 996 for the first time. Assuming a dry track and temps in the mid-70's, what tire pressures do you recommend? i.e what starting cold pressures, how many pounds should I expect them to build, and what hot temps work best?

I've used Yoko AD08's and since they have a fairly stiff sidewall they work well at lower pressures. Are R888's the same?

Thanks in advance.
Cheers.

Optimally you want to run 34-38 hot. I run them 36-37f/38-40r on my 996tt, it's a lot heavier then a 996 and I my sessions are only 20min so I prefer to start with higher cold temps where I can start lapping right away with out wasting laps building them up to temp.

You probably want to start off with 32 cold and pit and set hot temps after 10-15 min of lapping, then recheck and set them again after the run session. Check again if temperature changes a lot during the day.

^^^ Thanks.

Anyone else have additional input?

On a 996, you would be happy with hot psi 33F 35R ish. How much pounds gained will depend on your pace...
