I called Porsche dealer and they said the only thing they could tell me is one is painted (...03) and the other is polished (...07). Curious if there are other differences, or if they're the same wheel, just finished differently.

Also, would one be clearly better than the other, assuming they look the same color-wise? Thanks for any info.

Ben there done that. The Polished wheel was made for the 2004 40th anniv.
996. I would sell the 18" X 8" one below for less than half the new cost.
