Need help with polishing

I have the Kinesis Supercups (http://www.kinesismotorsport.com/cast.htm ) and the areas around the fasteners are oxidized and needs cleaning. The problem is the area is so tight around the fasteners that it would be very hard to get into that area with my fingers and do an adequate job of polishing the surface. Not to mention it would be an all day job!

Anyone know of a tool or a way of getting in this area? I have a Porter Cable buffer but it’s too big. I’m out of ideas other than sending them off to be cleaned.

I know one thing...as soon as they are cleaned up and looking good I’m putting this stuff on them (http://www.zoopseal.com/zoopseal.asp ) so I do not have to polish them again!

Thanks for any help!

A dremel might work.

Nick,

I'm in the same situation with some wheels for my track car - I just noticed that Griott's Garage has a set of polishing cones that may be the answer.

Check their web site and search for POLISHING CONES.

I'm going to order a set for my needs shortly.
