Default Pirelli P zero tyre type rundown?

Hi Folks

Can anyone give me a run down on the differences between the different types of Pzero tyres: Pzero standard, rosso, nero, silver, Corsa.
And which would be best for doing the occasional track day but also being a good wearing quiet road tyre?

Seem like almost everyone can't wait to wear those out (and they do that fast BTW) and replace with something other than Pirelli.

What about the Sumi's?

P.S.: I have the Rosso's. I might be in the minority, but have gotten a little over 20K out of the fronts and have gone through 2 sets of rears at just over 10k each. Both fronts and rears have tread left, but I need to replace because date code is about to expire on fronts....in fact, they're getting a little hard.

Rossos, here. Seem on the loud side, but they are wearing okay and the ride and handling are terrific.

I'm very happy with the PZeros on my 2012 991C2S 7/mt car. I've got 26k miles and one track event on them and they still have a tad left until the thread is down to the wear bar. And for a DD and once a year track event tire, they're as good as any other street tire. I plan to replace the 295 rears with 305s soon.

Rosso's are sticky but very noisy. Got about 15k on the rears.
Just switched 2 weeks ago to Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
Super quiet in comparison.
