Bridgestone RE050A in a Southern Winter?
I purchased a 2007 911 TT a little more than a month ago. The car came with a near-new set of Bridgestone RE050A tires. My concern is these tires in the winter. Now, granted, I live in Atlanta and we don't get that cold, but I also want to be safe. Will these tires be hazardous?

My BMW runs these tires; I haven't had a problem yet.

Somewhat farther north, I've run summer tires on Porsches through the winter for decades. I try to be careful, however. I pick the warmer winter days to go for a drive, and I don't expect the tires to have the same grip that they have in warmer weather. If there's any snow, sleet, or ice, we stay put.
