17" Rear Fikses-Fit-Oil line rub
I have an 87 911 with 930 brakes. I just bought 9x17 Fikse for rear. (275/35). The tire slightly rubs the oil line.
What are my options, e.g., spacer and/or modification of oil line.
Also, how do I "modify" the oil line. Is it as simple as moving the bracket which holds the oil lines lower. Or do I need to purchase new oil lines.
Thanks
John

I had that problem on my RSA. We moved the line a bit and used a 1/4" spacer. Worked fine.

I wrote to Bridgestone and Toyo to let them know that 275/35-17 is highly desirable and marketable to Porsche owners who would prefer not to go to 18" tires because of Porsche's disapproval. Waiting for their replies.
