Question What wheels will fit my car?

I'm looking to get a set of rims to mount spring/summer tires on, and mount some winter tires on my current wheels (15" cookie cutters). I'm looking to stay on the cheaper side, and used is not a problem. I need to know what offsets fit my car and any recommendations you guys might have.

Thanks!

Standard offset for an 83 944 is 23.3mm. You can fit wheels from 83 through 85.5 year models in the 944 series. This pretty much limits you to Cookie Cutters, Fuchs (very nice but pricey), and Phone Dials (careful, they're offered in two different offsets). You can also order aftermarket wheels in the correct offset - prices vary, but TireRack has some nice looking (although heavy) wheels in the $250 range.
