Yokahama AVS Intermediate
 

I'm shopping tires for my 85.5 NA. I need something that's good for street use, and autox. Anybody have experience with these? Would you recommend another tire? Thanks.

Just as an overall FYI on Yokohama's, I've had very good luck with Yokohma AVS DB's on both my Mercedes and my Lexus LS400. Great ride and noise level while maintaining lot's of grip.

I have used Dunlops for the last 5 years on my 1985 (3/85). This is (1 pair fronts, 2 pairs of rears) of the old D40/M2, and now on my second set of SP8000's. Prices are great, wear is good (for a performance tire). I drive about 7500 mi per year, and do about 3 driving events per year. I bet you could get a wee bit more stick out of the Yokohama.
