Post "R" compound street tires

After a few years of Stock Class fun, I've put my first set of "R" tires on my '89 Euro CS 911. They feel great, but I'm hoping to get feedback from someone who's run them. They're the new Pilot Sport Cup 225 & 245 X 16. When I ran the S-02's in Stock Class, they seemed to run best at around 38 / 40 lbs. hot. Should the "R" tires run lower? Are these tires fairly close to the Yoko A032 in wear and track performance? Has anyone run the new Yoko AO38 or AO39R's yet? Any and all feedback appreciated, thanks..........
